If you take aspirin or another blood thinner, Shanekwah might ask you to stop in the days before your injections to prevent bruising.

• Frown lines (vertical lines between the eyebrows)
• Crow’s feet (lines at the outer edges of the eyes)
• Worry lines (horizontal lines on the forehead)

The number of Botox injections that you receive depends on several factors, including the size, location, and severity of the wrinkles.

Is Botox painful?

Does Botox present any side effects?

Botox is safe and usually well-tolerated, but there are risks. After your appointment, avoid massaging, rubbing, or applying pressure to the injection sites. These motions may cause Botox to spread into other areas of your body and affect your results.

During the first 24 hours, it’s normal to experience side effects like minor bruising, swelling, and discomfort. If your symptoms persist or worsen, contact Shanekwah immediately.

How long do the results of Botox last?

The results of Botox typically last 3-6 months* and sometimes longer. If you want your skin to remain smooth and wrinkle-free, Shanekwah recommends scheduling maintenance appointments every few months.
